Swim and Dive lessons will begin on July 13th! Each one-week session will run Monday through Friday with two 45-minute sessions: 8-8:45 am and 8:45-9:30 am.
Cost: $50 per child/session: paid directly to the coaches on day 1 ( via Venmo)
Registration is open on Membersplash. Please understand that we are trying to maximize the number of participants while adhering carefully to the distancing standards set by the county and state. The registrations will be time-stamped, so slots will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis. We will do everything we can to accommodate as many kids as we can, but for the safety of all concerned, everyone may not get in. There is the possibility of extending after the first 3 weeks if we have enough interest.
Also, while we can not accommodate the true beginners at this point, we are working to offer private or small group lessons…stay tuned for more information.
Children must be accompanied by a parent. Masks must be worn entering and leaving the pool area, as well as trips to the restroom.
Each child must get an AAU# for insurance purposes (Good for all 3 sports): https://play.aausports.org/joinaau/multimembershipapplication
Directions on how to do this are posted at How to Register for an AAU#
Children need to be able to listen to and follow directions and accept the authority of an adult who is not their parent.
Beginners: Due to health precautions, there will be no “hands-on spotting”, so divers must be willing to go off the board on their own and able to swim to the side of the dive well independently.
Ready to learn hurdle, front and back lineup, or dive. They must be at least 5 years old,
feel comfortable with face-in swimming
